Dr. Prithviraj C. Patil is the founder and senior general surgeon at Deccan Malti Neuro & Superspeciality Hospital, Vishrambag, Sangli. He has more than 40 years of surgical practice, a special interest in coloproctology—the care of conditions affecting the colon, rectum and anus—and more than 30,000 surgeries to his credit.
He began his professional career at Seva Nursing Home, Sangli, on 18 December 1983. In September 1988, he moved to his own setup, Malti Nursing Home, where he practised until March 2023.
In March 2023, he joined Deccan Malti Neuro & Superspeciality Hospital as an anorectal surgeon. His conference contributions include operative faculty roles, talks and video presentations on anorectal conditions and their management across Maharashtra.
